IPhone 3G NO SERVICE - GSM-Forum

hi.. i have one Iphone 3G 16G.B.. It does not have any service.. let me tell u history of it.. It was not reading the sim card before i use the software quickpwn on it.. now it is reading sim card but it does not show any network.. and in the setting it does not show "cellular Network Data: can anybody tell me how to fix this phone.. please.

Try To Restore U Iphone Then Activate It By Orginal SiM Card Via Itunes

Restore It With Same Version Of Ipsw..
Then Use Quickpwn Again To Jailbreak..

Make Sure You Are Using Itunes 8.02 And Quickpwn 2.2

Have you tried to put it to work with a Tornado SIM?, remember that Iphone 3G only works with "X-sims" (Tornado, Universal, Rebel, etc), if not when you put an another-carrier SIM it shows "NO SERVICE" ....

i m from south africa.. and here all iphone come unlocked i mean we dont have to use that plastic chip with sim card.. and it was working with my vodacom simcard all of sudden one day it start showing sim card not inserted then read on forum and use that quickpwn on it.. after unlocking with quickpwn now it is reading sim card but not giving any signals..

Just update ur iPhone with ITune software

very good hummmm.. my friend u did not read this thread from top.. Itune has one update till 2.2 by now.. which i have in this 3g phone..
