I wanna use a turbosim with the phone. I know varying results with turbosim but i would still like to try and use 2 g on my phone at least. Would the carrier (null)(null) affect my phone from detecting a network? (Is it like the gsm radio is not functioning thats why there is a (null)(null) or something?) How do i fix it?? Thanks for your advise~ worried (oh ya by the way my phone is locked to softbank japan and i do not have a contract with them. bought the phone froom a guy and it was already restored and when i switched it on, it shows the activation screen... slide for emergency. I couldn't activate so i just jailbroke it and done. could access phone and all except for the carrier (null)(null) issue. I had read somewhere that if you activate the phone with original sim from the service provider and then jailbreak the phone, you wouldn't have this issue. Is this true? Its like the phone will activate the network detecting capabilities or such only if activated with the correct sim. Is there anyway to activate the iphone 2.30.03 without the original service provider sim? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Member: 1034323 Status: Offline Sonork: darkkennedy Thanks Meter: 0 | Yes i know that i have to use universal sim to use the phone. My question is If you had read my post thoroughly, is 1. WOULD THE "CARRIER = (NULL)(NULL)" AFFECT THE IPHONE FROM DETECTING A NETWORK WHEN USING THE UNIVERSAL SIM? 2. Do i need to use the original sim provider sim card to ACTIVATE the phone first before i jailbreak it? 3. I do not have a contract with original sim provider(softbank japan) and is there a way to do normal ACTIVATION (not unlock) without the contract sim card? |
