Iphone 3gs 3.12 new boot brick! Solution? - GSM-Forum

i have 2pcs after tethered jailbreak i restore original firmware and allway get error 14,16 now it is stuck on recovery mode and cant restore any firmware.
anyone encountered this problem? which's solution?

try to restore in other pc

try 2 other pcs. when firmware writing status bar appear then iphone auto turn off and back to recovery mode

Try to put iPhone in DFU Mode and try again

check if it's a 3G or 3Gs FW , and then put the good fw , try to restore it in other pc , and try to download a new fw .

well I want to share my experience: Today I flashed a 32GB 3GS with normal restore firmware that I have in my pc (3.1.2) some months ago. Results: blackra1n works 1000000%, of course only the power down issue (power up with cable and retry blackra1n to boot) but other stuff was fine!

Could be newer firmwares have inside new iBoot ? I can share my old restore firmware (3.1.2) with yours, just ask and will upload here!

is that original firmware or custommize firmware? please post to rapidshare. my problem is when status of updating show on screen then my iphone is auto shut off and itune stop and i get error message. may be it hardware?

Try to use ireb for bypass error 16xx then restore again

if same error occur's? it's hard to rerover brick iphone w/ new boot

your stuck in thethered jailbreak only for the main time

and wait for the new jailbreak solution for iphone new boot

especially in 3g's.

original firmware and iTunes flashing process was just fine, no errors

restore with itunes

use black rain to jailbrak

install cydia

install blacksnow

all is well
