Red face LCD Not Working After Replacing Glass

Well my iPhone screen cracked and I figured I might as well replace it myself for 20 dollars instead of 250 from the Apple store. I'm pretty sure I did everything right. The only thing I did do that was probably pretty stupid but I figured it wouldn't mess anything up. When I was unscrewing the LCD from the digitizer the last top left screw would not budge after hours of trying to I just cut the metal of the lcd connecting it which hopefully isn't whats causing the problem.
After connecting everything the 1 2 and 3 parts (and trust me they are connected I've opened and closed it a million times trying to figure this out) and putting the screen back in place nothing comes up on the screen. I've tried several hard resets, restores in iTunes, and a DFU restore. The phone turns on I can hear it and it vibrates, but theres nothing on the screen. I don't know what else to try. I've read other posts with similar problems but none of the answers work. I've heard people say you need a new battery or to take the batter out and put it back in, but I don't want to mess with anything else if its not going to work. Anyone have any ideas or can confirm that the battery solution works?

Try another lcd mate looks like the one you have inserted is not working. If it is picking up on itunes then you have no fault besides your display which means that is 100% LCD.

It wasn't the LCD I bought it was the touchscreen. I don't think the LCD is damaged.

maybe you damage flex on lcd, or damage plastic socket.

No.You need new lcd and you be very careful. Do not bend the flex close by the lcd edge. You have to bend the lcd flex ONLY on two white lines marked on it.
It is very easy to damaged the flex.

Are you saying that the lcd could be damaged because of the "1" piece is that the flex that you speak of?

You might have damaged the connector cable # 3, or the LCD. You may buy an LCD & find that the LCD was good. You will just be wasting your time and money on parts.
I would say, just go with professional repair. I have used www.CupertinoiPhone.com in the past & was extremely happy with the result.

Try a tester to see the voltage of the battery, so we are removing problems? Oks
