try ivolume booster from cydia, i personaly didn;t notice much of a diffs but i might be wrong. good luck.

try reset all settings in Settings>>General>>Reset

Guys,i ve an iphone 3G with mic problem(noise-distorted out put).
I tried different mics but still the same.
Any trick about this?
