What about iPhone 16GB 3GS, afther unlock 3.1.3 firmware, modem ver. 05.11.07

does it need always connect to pc afther shutdown phone, like with blackrain or it stays unlocked and can work normal even afther restart?

Once the screen scrolls off u have sucessfully unlocked the phone. U just don't see it is unlocked b/c u have forgotten on small detail . After the the screen scrolls off u have to turn reboot the device twice then check it a a different sim card

Hi Gsmjunkie: If i could add the source " "repo666.ultrasnow.com" and install ultrasnow 0.93, i would not be here at all.
To install ultrasnow we need Wi-Fi.I was looking for a solution without Wi-Fi.Hence had asked about the afc2add.Anyway , i didn't say i can use Cydia.I just opened Cydia(of course offline,since phone is locked,so no net)
and found there was no afc2add.thats the reason.

Anyway, it doesnt matter now.i hv unlocked my iPhone using another method given by a user.So no worries.

step1


insert 1sim and connect it to itune, then it will jb itself.

step2

open spirit (then it will run and install cydia)

step 3

go to cydia ,
>source
>edit
>add
then u will get a window to enter url"repo666.ultrasn0w.com"and select
>Add source
then u can see "Entered by user" u can see the installed apps
select that , then u will get a installation window and install it.
then system will restart .

I just wanted to say thank you to this website and the original poster for the unlock method. I was banging my head on the wall all day trying to unlock this dumb Iphone ! I did every method - I even put the damn thing in the freezer!! Than my wi-fi wasn't working so I was trying to diagnose my network and router for half the day ugh! I'm assuming it's the Iphone 4.0 update and the BB they used - Hopefully they patch and I'll have wi-fi & and an unlocked iphone - Anywho thank you again - it works great!!

P.S. if I use a sim card with T-mobile data plan will it work on the Iphone and provide me internet- could I turn on the 3g?
