Or possibility to change ( i don't see any reason ) HTC__001 to 11111111 on Runnymede phone that can be S-OFF-ed in any case without special knoweledge, due to security hole in this model and after this simple adb commands can do the job?

Old tricks on old phone ... it's no cost time spend, no even money for third party tool, like IR-Key...

We all expect more from IR team ... just a hint - attach online HTC JavaCard with/via credits access from IR-Key users for real S-OFF and unlock for new models - and ... earn money from every S-OFF click!
