how to unlock the e160????

originally bought from Globe
tried with software card_unlock_e156_e160_e170.exe but it says it "data card not found!"

i have the unlock code & flash number.

googled and didn't find the answer

please help me, i'm on mac and have to go to a public internet cafe to try solve this.

hi, all you need to do is updating the dashboard (and firmware)--if the mobile partner software provided by the globe only support the globe's profile settings. you can find the update files from here.

note: the update process can only be done on a wind*ws machine.

after updating the dashboard (and firmware), simply change the sim-card with another operator's sim-card then connect your modem into your computer, a small box asking for the unlock code will appear. there, you can supply the unlock code, pressing the ok button, and all done.

i've tried this method on my e160g with success

can i get the flash and unlock codes for Nokia 1661-2, and then, how do i run the update?
I also wish to request if can get the unlock codes for Motorola c123.
please assist, thank you in advance.
