Galaxy Gear able to run real Android apps!

Has anyone read about this? You can sideload APKs into the Galaxy gear and run them like normal Android apps. Of course it looks weird since it's a small screen and it only has 512mb RAM. Still, it's good to know you can do this. Ars technica has the instructions on how, if you want to know.
