how do you input the E & A in the code ?

Alcatel

Select Menu "Operator"
Select "Sim-Lock"
Insert the calculated code in "Unlock Code"

To insert the letters, press numer continously until the right letter appear.

not working, i can only input numbers , i am not using the sim it is locked to, i am using my own sim, the phone opens with a sim lock screen and you can only input numbers in it, i tried the 3 for E and 2 for A, here is what it says:

1st screen:

iBloqueado! Ver al vendedor

when i input 98301682

it says :

hubo un problema la accion fracaso

any clue?
