Stonesuk, Thanks for the info, but the first post does not tell me how to get the information that it is requesting. Like I said, I don't have anything to use to get this information other than the phone? So this was the reason for my post? Do I need to buy a box? And only then can I be able to get this information using the cable attached to box and phone? I would say again, so that I can make myself totally clear, how do I start, Thanks for any help you can provide, rather than just criticize, and waste ur own time.

All depends on the model of sagem.... some modes can be unlocked by info you can read from the phone..... older models(my30XX/mw30XX etc) you could access a 'secret service menu' and read this info(change happened around the x3/x5 time) ... then you had to use a data cable for the next models-field 5709 wap lock was only crypted field you could read and brute force phone ID(x1/x2/c2) from since then jtag/testpoint is the only option.....*for now

I wish I could really understand what you were saying. I suppose I really need to start from scratch to learn about phones, so that I could understand what you are talking about. I suppose when you say, such information can be found using the phone, then there must be some sorts of keys to input in the phone to get all these different #'s. Is there any list of such codes, keys, that I can get, so to use them to get this info from the phone? Please do advise.

I am trying to unlock sagem myc2-2. I only know how to get the IMEI # from the phone, it seems to have a payT lock, when I put my working sim card in it. Thanks for the time.

myc2-2 can be remote unlocked but youneed a data cable to read some crypted info from your phone to enable calculation
