Bell Canada unable to connect to internet Nokia 5230

Have just purchased a unlocked Nokia 5230 and have connected to bell with one of there sim cards, get voice and text messages ok. I am on a data plan have put these setting in to the phone but still cannot connect.
There are 3 colored buttons on the bottom. Press the white button "once"
2. Go to settings->connectivity->destinations and select "Access Point"
3. Phone asks "automatically check for available access points?" Select "yes"
4. Phone scans SIM and finds "available access points". Select "packet data"
5. Phone asks for name. Enter "bell", select the "green" check and ans. "OK"
6. Phone asks "Select destination", select "Internet"
7. Phone says "new access point added" and goes back to the menus
8. Select Internet
9. Phone lists "bell", Select sell
10. Select "Access point name" and change from bell to "pda.bell.ca"
11. keep selected "back" and "exit" till you get back to the default display
12. Open the web browser
13. phone "Connect to the Internet via "bell"?
14 click on text -> accept and set 'use access point' to 'automatically'

get this message packet data not available or connection not available
