how to enter unlock code for siemens s56????? - GSM-Forum

i hve the 8 digit unlock code from my provider but whe i put in my foreign sim card, it doesnt ask for a 8 digit code, instead it says, "disable network lock" and on the right it states SOS...how can i punch in the unlock code???!?!?! there must be another way!?!?!?!

i think u need to unlock this through cables and there is no way u can enter unlock codes...... correct me if i am wrong

invalid entry...??? i got the code from cingular...cant be wrong? *#0003*your code#, after i hit # it was wait and a fishy logo comes up and it says invalid entry?!?!

do i put in my code from my provider and is there a space? your_code?

yourcode? is that like spell out the word "yourcode" or is it my code that my provider gave me? and is there a space anywhere? and do i do it with a sim card? my provider sim card? of foreigh sim card

yourcode is the code that you provider gave to you

the code should be 8 digits long ryte? strange, it keeps on saying invalid entry.....does that mean i have the wrong code? or am i doing something wrong

best way for you are to ask your provider how to enter this code

actually, i recently unlocked mine, and the code i inputted was

*#0000#thecode#

And yes, your code should have been 8 digits. i have unlocked 2 of the siemens, nad both were 8 digit codes.
