how many locks do fido Nokia DCT3 phones have? - GSM-Forum

i've been hearing that fido has used several tricks to keep their nokia phones locked

DCT4 phones sold by fido need a "special" network code for unlocking...is it also true for fido DCT3 phones? is it the same secret network code?

also, how many locks does their DCT3 phones have enabled?

friend whether 1 lock or 4 locks closed is no longer of paramount importance because dct3 eeprom tools will just remove all and dct4 same with many latest equipment. Nowadays we don't even check the nuumber of locks

yes, but i have an old nokia 3390 here and i'd like to get rid of it...

it's not worth the money to purchase an unlocking clip for only one phone. it's not worth the cost of paying someone to unlock the phone either because that amount is basically how much the phone is worth.

i was just wondering what locks are locked so i can determine if i can use the free codes from this forum.
