hi guys ..

i have a problem with E220 when i tried to unlock it with the method

SeeJay.Net: How to Unlock the Huawei E220 HSDPA modem

and
Unlock E220: Unlock Huawei E220 HSDPA Modem

and download the software and when i used Hex Editor XVI32 and entered the code 53 64 2c it shows not fount . i also tried the code 53 64 and still not found .
is there any successful way to unlock E220 ?

Try this, found it posted somewhere, if you don't find it or 53 64 2c search for 4438n and you will see a 8 numbers that's unlock code.

I cannot find this number no matter what I try?

All the guides tell you to
Now Select Read EFS and set the End address as 00001000 and then press Lets Go

Is that long enough? it appears a lot smaller dump than the two files posted as rars here?

Also, I downloaded the last rar posted and searched for the 8 digit string shown as the unlock code. I ould see it but not at the address mentioned in all the guides??? i.e at 53 64 2C 00

I am so confused now, not to mention frustrated, mostly because I originally read the dongle and it was unlocked, then with a subsequent flash it was LOCKED.

Not sure if the results expected require a particular firmware?

Please help if you can
