Member: 30361 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Unlocking instructions 1st From the forum and in help bar of the World Unlock Codes Calculator program: Type #pw+CODE+x# into the locked phone with no SIM card in phone. To access button “+” you have to press twice “*” within less than a second. To access “p” just press “*” three times within one second. To access “w” press “*” four times within one second. If your phone will not be unlocked by typing the "1" (lock 1) codes, use "7" (lock - multilock) Remember ! You have only 5 tries, after that only a cable solution can help you ! 2nd From the World Unlock Codes Calculator site: Easy guide to free Nokia unlocking: 1. Select phone model from list. 2. Enter IMEI number of your phone (Press *#06# on phone) 3. Select country and service provider where the phone was bought. 4. Hit the button: Calculate! 5. The software generate some Nokia unlock codes. 6. If 7 codes are displayed, use the code ending with +7 first. 7. If it does not work, then try +1, and finaly +5. 8. When phone displays "Sim restriction off" it is unlocked. 9. If only two codes are displayed (+1 and +2) enter both of them! Codes will be shown on the form: #pw+CODE+n# To get p, w or +, pres the * button several times. You enter the codes correctly by removing any simcard from the phone, turning the phone on and then enter the code. Important You only have 5 tries to enter the correct unlocking code, if all 5 times fail you have to unlock it by cable. Questions: - Is there any diference typing first +1 then +7 and +7 then +1 code? - How's that somebody directly says "Use +5 code!" - how can they be sure? - Where is diference when cell (while unlocking) displays "Code error" and "Cannot undo restriction"? - Is the procedure same for all types of Nokia phones - or it has something to do with warious types? Note that I was searching for the answer on the forum (which I didn't find) before I wrote this thread! Thanx Last edited by afroman; 07-12-2006 at 18:50. |
