Thanx for unlockin my fone but how come i cant make fone calls the signal has seven bars but when i try to fone n e 1 all i can hear is three short tones! Is this anything to do with network coverage or is it because i put a vodafone sim in an orange fone?

Does this happen when you try to make a call with Orange sim or Vodafone sim.

It happens when i try to fone people with my vodafone simcard

the phone is barred.
meaning it has been reported lost or stolen.
contact the orignal owner and get him to lift the bar.

Its a Nokia 7210, It was restricted but I managed to get it unlocked, I can send text messages off it and receve them but I can't ring out and nobody can ring me either.

Try with a different vodafone sim
