Need 2 unlock codes for v400

I know these are new phones, but there are generators out there.

Both are cingular motorola v400's (31017 network code)

And imeis are as follows:
352683001659280

and

352683001692348

The top one being of more importance.

Also, must you have a diff carriers sim card to actually unlock?

Thanks

Are you sure these phones aren't unlocked already? Mine came unlocked right from the cingular store. try popping in a t-mobile sim card and see what happens.

no, they are both infact locked to cingulars network... I wouldnt necessarily mind paying for logs or whatever... however I dont know any reputable unlocking companies or ones that can still get the unlocks.

If anyone has any information or can get me the unblock code for that top v400 ,I'd greatly appreciate it.

unlocking v400 cingular

the V400 from cingular will work with another carriers sim...
however, you cannot access the new carriers web, i.e. T-zones (tmobile), or M-mode (ATT), until it is unlocked..

also the menu has the cingular symbol and pre-installed cingular menus..
once unlocked, the phone should be back to motorola factory specs

you have to get it flashed with a generic firmware/flex to get rid of the cingular stuff. and MUST manually input the correct setting to use web access with mMOde and tzones.

Soda, I flashed my v400 with v600 software... it may be unlocked now, and it is completely generic, no ties to any one carrier... I just dont have a foreign sim to try in it =)

But before I flashed it, when I got it, it absolutely was not unlocked.

Lets put things this way... I work for cingular... and know that the v400's that I've dealt with are locked to cingulars network... inserting a sim from tmobile or att will come back with "Enter Subsidy Code"
