Please help!!! Lg lucid unlock!!!!

I've been searching the past two days for the sim card unlock number for my LG Lucid phone. I had service on it threw Verizon, an I thought I had lost it a few months back, did the whole lost/stolen phone thing with Verizon, got a new phone. The account was in my mother's name, who recently passed and in the process of cleaning everything out, I found my LG Lucid. Verizon is too expensive for me, so I'm trying to go threw a different cheaper company and use my LG Lucid phone. Verizon won't give me the unlock code because I don't know the account information and I can't find the code anywhere. I stumbled upon this web site and hopefully someone can finally help me and provide a unlock code for me. If you cannot help me, could you possibly point me in the right direction.
