Unlocking LG C1100 - GSM-Forum

Hi I'm new to this forum so I don't know if I've put this in the right section

Still; here's my question: My girlfriend has a LG C1100 cellphone which she can't use in Belgium because of the sim-lock.
Does there exist a way to unlock this phone? I know this must be possible; because I once did it with a Nokia 6600 from Austria (stupid me buying it there). I used some code calculator for this; but the LG model isn't included in that program; so I can't unlock it myself.

Here's the info about the phone:
imei: 356192000546247
type: LG C1100
locked on (provider): SFR France

Please help me

take it to a local shop to get it unlocked, as im sure that is the only way

So there's no way to unlock it through IMEI?
