unlocking motorola e398 WITHOUT SMART CLIP

hi.
i've decided to put things to the test.
i've inserted another sim (not the supplier it's locked for) into my motorola e398, and guess what happend: it said: "enter unlock code" and waited for me to insert some code.

it means that THERE IS a way to unlock the damn phone WITHOUT any hardware, we just need to find out what is this code, and how do we generate it.

now, i'm not a big hacker myself, but i'm sure there is SOMEONE is these forums that can pick the glove up, and free us motorola e398 from our enslavement, by finding that damn unlock code.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!
10x.

All phones can be unlocked by code, but it's not possible to "hack" codes for all phones.

In most countries, the providers have to unlock the phones after 6/12/24 months, it's almost always done by sending the code to the customers.

CyberKareca's answer isn't as bizarre as your question :-)

first of all, 434368 ?!?!?!

second, what i mean is: if there's a way for the supplier to calculate the code for the phone, it's possible to find it (like, don't any of you guys have friends working for some supplier, that can release such calculator ? )

i'm sory if i'm asking dumb questions, i just think that if there's a free way, we must seek it and exploit it, and steal that calculator from somewhere

first of all, i know i'm new and stuff, but what's with the numbers? what do i miss? (not nice to make fun on my expanse...)

second of all, i guess i'm too naive. i just used to believe, that you can get EVERYTHING free on the net if you look hard enough.
guess i was wrong.
