Apple Watch OS 1.0.1 Update Released

Watch OS 1.0.1 can be downloaded by opening the Apple Watch app on an iPhone and selecting My Watch, General, then Software Update. It is a 51.6-megabyte download

This release includes performance improvements and bug fixes including the following:

Improved performance for:

Siri
Measuring stand activity
Calculating calories for indoor cycling and rowing workouts
Distance and pace during outdoor walk and run workouts
Accessibility
Third party apps

Display support for new Emoji characters

Additional language support for:

Brazilian Portuguese
Danish
Dutch
Swedish
Russian
Thai
Turkish

To update your Apple Watch, you must use the dedicated Apple Watch App on the iPhone and navigate to Settings, General, Software Update.

How to download and install to watchOS 2.2

Update your iPhone to iOS 9.3.
Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi and launch the iOS 9 Watch app.
Tap on the My Watch tab.
Tap on General.
Tap on Software Update.
Tap on Download and Install.
Enter your iPhone Passcode (if you have one).
Tap Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Make sure your Apple Watch is charged to at least 50% and connect it to the magnetic charger.
Tap Install on your iPhone and/or your Apple Watch.
The watchOS 2.2 update will download and transfer to your Apple Watch and Apple Watch will reboot to apply the update. You can follow the progress on the Apple Watch screen, and once it's done, you'll be all set.

How to Update to WatchOS 3 on Apple Watch

watchOS 3 is compatible with all Apple Watch models. Updating WatchOS software is accomplished with the following steps:

Be sure the paired iPhone is updated to iOS 10
Connect the Apple Watch to the charger, it needs at least a 50% charge and to be connected to wi-fi
Open the Watch app on iPhone and go to “My Watch”
Choose “General” and then “Software Update” and select ‘Download and Install’

Downloading and updating to watchOS 3 can take a while, so be prepared to rest your Apple Watch for a while and let the process complete.

Recently I was changed my screen on my Apple Watch S4
After change my display it’s was very slow booting & I decided to reset my watch
After reset while pairing to my iPhone it was unpairing automatically with out any pop up message like pairing failed
Then I shown to technician to same he is saying issue with screen flex cable
Does it cause this or anything else
Please reply

now need firmware 8.7.1 . three weeks have passed since its release 17.8.2022, no download found or website interested in apple watch. when will the firmware be available?

as soon as the firmware comes out the others one stops working, it's not like apple does with iphone or ipad !!!
