I've smashed mine during running and carefully opened the Apple Watch. I unmounted the screen with the LCD. After that I separated LCD and screen. Clearing with Isopropanol, ... let the LCD shine like brand new. Take your time it takes a while. After that (before glueing together with LOCA) I tried to check if LCD and screen works. Screen works, touchscreen doesn't respond. 2nd replacement screen doesn't work too. I've read several articles about the replacement-screens which don't work. Did anyone have this problem before and how can I solve that? Buy I new one or a iCloud-locked one? Thanks |

I'll ask a german dealer this week if he can guarantee that his screens will work. The Chinese-dealers on eBay didn't make much business so I think they don't have experience. By the way: I got my money back so the dealer was fair |

I did't glue it together and tested it before. All the watches have the newest OS. Maybe it's a compatibility problem. As I remember someone wrote that Apple has built in a restriction so all other-party units won't work. I'm asking the German seller about his experience |

Member: 1842505 Status: Offline Sonork: 2344 Thanks Meter: 4 | Question to all regarding double-sided tape: How do you glue the display-part to the frame-body? I've used a double-sided tape (European product from Henkel) which holds for some days, but when wearing the watch in the summer, it loses the adhesive and the display-part moves up. I don't want to use the Loctite Power-Bond because of white "fog" behind the glass... Any tips are welcome |
