i have this problem too(tested by Several pc But did not respond)

If you haven't already, ensure the USB Key Driver and Serial Com Driver are both installed.

You can find both these located in BST/Drivers
Run PL2303 Prolific DriverInstaller
Run the setup related to your system in BST/Drivers/Usb Key Driver

If you find you're still having difficulties; I suggest you return your BST dongle to the authorized re-seller you purchased it from and request a replacement product.
