Hi is anyone else have a problem when connecting the dongle to the computer where it completely turns the computer off instantly? or is there a solution?

well its not BST problem maybe your Hub problem please check PC USB posrt 1st, if any other usb insert in that port and nothing happend its mean dongle PCB or USB points short.

please explain more about your problem and check what i write above and post detail

Do not play with malware and harmful, u'll get big problems and high risk...
Some phone softwares is infected and i don't know why...
Be carefull...!

I've tried it on two computers and on my Asus it dies instantly on my mac running windows it does not recognise at all and when I run mac osx to see if I can see it it tells me that it's trying to draw to much power and the port has been disabled.

you USB Dongle is short, contact your resaller for replace it

Sorry to ask Unlock-King-PK are you one of the developers of this product or do you know them as the where I bought it from are being difficult and wanting videos etc for me to prove it?
