Galaxy Note 3 - ScreenLock - Recovery Loop

Working on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900W8 that has a pattern lock that I would like to remove. The version is N900W8VLUCNB7, which seems to be in fact 4.4.2.

Using BST version 3.25.5, I tried using the OneKey Recovery method to unlock the device, following those steps: BST-OneKey Recovery (support 4.3/4.4.2) remove screenlock w/o userdata loss - Support - GsmBest Team

It worked until the phone tried to reboot in Recovery mode. At that time, it enter a boot loop. At the top of the screen is written "Recovery Booting..." for about 2 seconds then the phone reboots. I was able to get out of the boot loop by removing the battery, then booting into download mode, then booting into normal mode. I am completely unable to get into Recovery mode.

Any idea where to go from here? How could I remove the pattern lock without endangering the user data?

Thanks

This happened to me once brother. I flashed a lower firmware recovery and let the boot loop begin. The only way I was able to fix that was flashing over a TWRP recovery. Then I manually deleted the .key files located on /Data/System and bam! Screen lock gone! Cheers brother

I am really not that familiar with Android flashing and hacking.

Is there a reliable procedure on how to perform this?

Could this endanger the user data?

Thanks.
