help needed with BST UART com port not connecting [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

I have BST Dongle ,My UART port isn't working ,I have Samsung galaxy s3Gt I9300 with null imei I did everything correctly but when it ask to connect UART cable 523 , when conneted it says unable to connect to com port , communication fails can someone help me please

1- flash phone with stock room
2- Root
3- update SuperSU
4- write Default EFS or reset EFS
5- write Imei

if still Null
it's hardware

I meant my UART COM PORT isn't communicating with my phone , whenever I reach the part to connect UART CABLE 523 it fails , how I don't know why

which box you are using to connect box?

Can you tell me of It's the com port box that came in BST PACKAGE is it to used with the UART CABLE 523 or you of have a different phone box like : octapus , ns-pro , z3 box , for the UART CABLE TO work cause I don't understand why my phone communication fail when I connect UART CABLE 523 to finish repairs on galaxy phones

did you install PL2023 Drivers? if not then install that 1st.
and by the way when you open BST software 1st time please take a screen shot of that exe and post here to see status of box drivers

Hi, odaneS

Now phone with NULL IMEI, have to solve baseband unknown problem 1st.

Try solve baseband unknown as follow way:

1. Flash with correct fullflash (5 file ROM)
2. Write Default EFS
3. Check baseband and imei, repair imei if baseband working back.

i have same problem and drivers are well installed before i used octopus box with 523k to unlock and repair imei but now is not working anymore always failed connetion . today i have to use ns pro to correct s3.pls kindly do somethin to this bicos customers are trusting us with BST again for samsung issues
