Just received my BST today. Managed to fix Note 2 N7100 (write new imei). Then when I wanted to fix S4 i9500, it can't communicate with phone. The UART cable is not working anymore. Tried again with N7100, didn't work also. Only worked once...

Nothing wrong with process. It's the UART cable... poor quality... only use once... then not working anymore.

you received today and already damage?

you ask, what process you want to do, because my also happened to me that mistake !! and the problem was not the cable !!! (in a i9500). Bye bye.

What mistake? I know how to use this dongle. I successfully repaired the imei for N7100 the first time I used it. Later, I use on i9500 but error "Cannot connect to phone". Then I try again with N7100... also cannot connect with phone.

Why can I connect with N7100 on my first use but later can't? The only reason is because the uart cable is damaged.

Can anybody post the schematics for the 2 in 1 uart cable (RJ45 & USB to micro USB)? The schematics posted here is only for RJ45 to USB.

The computer does not detect my phone when I plug into uart cable. It only detected it on my first use. After that it won't detect anymore. I've installed all drivers and software.

I tested the jig with a usb cable, it detected my phone.

For New Phone with High Fw 4.4.2 and more high, use or other Box with His Uart cable has Interface, (work 100%), or use Uart Clip setting UART to 619K, (tested 100%), here Pinout of RJ45 Uart Cable for all BOX/DONGLE that use UNIPINOUT Connection, (No Ns Pro and other 1/2).

I am trying to test a new uart cable as you said, phone I am using is a samsung 6928f, and get this:

Checking environment ... failed
Device Info (MTP) ... failed
Time used : 0.1 s

I tried with a different cable that works great on z3x and says the same.

If I choose the interface right port gets:

Scanning devices ... 0 found
Device Info (UART) ... failed
Time used : 9.0 s

I already put the resistor on the pcb because I have v1.1

Any other help?

For PCB V1.1 No need any resistor, where no there's anything writed yes need solder resistor.

Sure work with UART CLIP setted to 619K or build by yourself one UART cable with 619K of resistor, can desolder resistor in pcb...is V.1.1 no need.

Other Sure way is to use other BOX as interface, like Z3X or Octopus, with his Uart cable, this is also 100% tested and working.

Hope now is all clear that this pcb ...... not want to talk more about, all TIPs explained.

Good Lucky

P1000 cable NOT goes Modified lol....

Uart cable can build by yourself with one easy diagram that's the same for 99% of Box, all Box that use UNIPINOUT, Z3X, Octopus, Micro-Box itc...only Ns Pro NOT use Unipinout and (not remember good), UFS...

LOOCK, but cannot use with this mainbord of BST has inteface, (have also Usb cable, Y cable), here Diagram:

Or can use Other Box as Interface with His Uart cable, NO Ns Pro.

Anyway explain clear what's you problem with Log and screenshoot.

thanks for responding quickly
this diogram is used for building UART 523K for Micro-USB but i need a diogram to build P1000 UART 523K.
and if i may understand you correctly, i must use other boxes like Z3X and their cable as interface to do this.
and about the last question: i use Z3X box and cable to repair imei on N8000 so i have not screen or log to share. but there is gonna be something we can do in other to write imei on tablets which have P1000 pin( Sockets) using BST dongle and interface!
