i9070 unlock problem - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I just got bstdongle and i'm trying to network unlock a Samsung i9070.

I have enabled debugging mode, and tried connecting via usb cable & tried with the 523k uart cable (tried selecting all available com ports from the interface box 1 by 1) but noting is working, everything I try keeps saying it cant find the phone. if I connect via usb cable and click the scan button it reads info from the phone.

Please can anyone help?

1st of all let me explain about Scan button, Scan button work is only five devices that available on usb ports like phone and boxes,
when you click scan button software scan all USB Ports and tell you what is connect with USB with this PC,
so once you scan and if your phone is connected with usb then if will show info about phone if Phone not connected with USB then you will have have all box with connected with USB then you have to select correct COM port and need click INFO button not Scan again.
when you select correct COM Port and click info you will get phone info by UART cable and can do any job with UART like this.
i hope now you understand, Follow my instructions and try to unlock your phone and post result
i would like to see logs and screen shoots

Hi , I followed your intruction and it seems that software has problem when it start to ROOT . I paste my info :

I followed steps and with the usb cable it sees the phone but when i use the uart cable no phone detects :

Connect to device ...
Device Authentication ... communication failed
Please check:
1. choose the right port
2. some device UART need re-connect use each 30 seconds
Prepare environment ... check environment failed

Device Info (UART) ... failed
Time used : 0.6 s

Scanning devices ... 0 found
Device Info (UART) ... failed
Time used : 0.9 s

Hi V_Dubs wich cable are u using? Are you choosing right com port? and you have to click info instead of scan.

I tried everything. 2 computers, different pl2303 drivers still nothing.
