Just got BST, failed to unlock SM-G900R4 [ANSWERED]


Hi, i just got the dongle and cables, BST has failed to network unlock Samsung SM-G900R4 from us cellular, the latest update specified it should be able unlock it? what im doing wrong? here is the dialog i get:

UART Cable Resistor: 523 K
ReadCodes/Unlock/Repair:
1. Type *#0808# and set USB to AP.
2. Set "USB Settings" to "DM+MODEM+ADB".
3. Click "OK".
Cables: MicroUSB
Interface: Auto, Change UART when request

Read Info/Flashing/UserLock/Backup:
Cables: MicroUSB
Interface: Auto

Device Authentication ...
Unlocking device ... ok
All lock written to '00000000'
Reboot device to NORMAL mode ...

First read instruction properly , then try

Root> Read EFS, NVM> Write Default EFS> Write Super IMEI > write backup nvm and Repair 3g if needed

Ok i did this up to this part Root> Read EFS, NVM> Write Default EFS after writing default efs the UART cable no longer detects the phone. what now?

Seems the phone needed a couple resets for it to pick it up again on the UART, i wrote the new imei i think, i will now write the backup nvm and the 3g option is off for this phone

After doing all those steps, is still locked, with the bonus that now i have lost my imei and has been replaced by the super imei number, is still 14 digits.

After Write Default EFS> Write Super IMEI > Check network if not ok then write nvm (Not efs)

UART worked again after i reset the phone a couple times, so that one was solved, after writing super imei the network was still locked, i restored the nvm backup now.

HI,
UART didnot work for me. I already added resistor/use usb a-b cable/set uart in the phone via 0808/7284... has detected prolific driver/ blue light appeared/ but phone not detected/ only har soft beep sound from the phone... thank you

Hi,

After Network unlocked done, any problem facing now??? uart connect working as your logs.

How to unlock SM-G900R4:

1. backup efs & nvm;
2. write default efs
3. write superIMEI
4. put sim card check network, do "repair network" if no have network

Did you unlock the phone? i make the uart work, but
"repair network" option is disabled in my software and my phone still lock

Thats not a gsm phone, BST it's taking you for a fool saying it's unlockable when it's not.
