No communication UART 523 K gt i9300 andr 4.3 bst v3.22.00 [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

Hello friends of the forum today I was repairing imei samsung s3 gt i9300 with Android 4.3 with the best smart tool updated to v3.22.00, going on service and making imei patch is all ok but I do not detect the cable uart 523K I've tried two cables equal but not all go and 2, then what could be the problem of non-communication? has anyone had the same problem and can help me?

Hi, ceck if you small adapter have wrote V.1 or 1.1....if yes you Not must need any Jumper with 100K resistor....ceck good if you are using rith UART CABLE, (post Photo), becouse many shop not send Full cables package.

If you not to see any V.1 you must need of make a small Jumper with resistor how photo here:

I soldered a resistor smd 100k but still does not communicate why? I want to know if I'm wrong configuration? *#7284# uart>pda usb>modem

Click in Photo and read configuraction also with serial port *#9090#+ *#7284#, phone rotted itc....

Hi, mattegsmmagic

Try solve problem as follow way:

1. Check PL2303 drivers (Run BST software check logs windows, if you can see "OK" with green color thats mean your pl2303 working, otherwise install pl2303 again, X:\BST|Drivers\PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1. 8.0.exe)

2. Check phone baseband working or not, if baseband unknown try solve first.

Thanks GsmBest-Wei With the response I checked the baseband is unknown, so I can get out of this situation, installing the modem part? I might post a guide to install so that it does nothing wrong thanks

You not have seen the link above post #2...not have seen the photo, now not know what Modem, ...sorry but use a little this search button and loock in forum what's a Fw, what's 4 part file Fw...a little of knowledge you must need....this is one easy phone....

Modem side is the AP/CODE in field of 4 part fw, try to search only modem for the fw that you have installed....
