URGENT HELP!! USBkey stops working! [ANSWERED]


Hello,
my usbkey stops working unexpectedly. I unplug it from USB and when I plug it back it doesn't work - red LED doesn't shine. The consequence is that I canNOT run BestSmartTools.
Dongle doesnt work in other PCs too.

Is there some chance to repair it easily?

Thank you for your all advices! It is very sad for me because I have been working with this dongle for 6 months only....

I think you have leave connected this in you pc and any Short has damaged this, at this point open this and try to put the Card, (if have one inside), in other reader then try to working with other reader, easy...if you have damaged also the Card....you must need of to buy other

I don't have any card inside the dongle. I'm sure that I didn't anything bad with the dongle and it stops working surprisingly. I was satisfied with this tool, but what to do now... I don't know

Did u find any card inside BST Dongle???? So pls Don't Misguide If U Don't Know Much About BST ...

yes its true, but what is your help? I hope that BST dongle is not tool for 6 months use only...

So I contacted my reseller and the product is under warranty for 6 months only (I have had it for 7 months) so I can throw out the BST tool from window. really great product which has been working for 7 months only.

Do you have some tip how to recover it? I would like to use it but I don't want to pay full money for it because I didn't do anything wrong with it and it stopped working...

does exist some way how to repair broken usb key? Or is it the end of my tool which I paid honestly?

I hope that BST support works, I don't have a good experience with it, so I hope that you will change my experience...

Hello all,
problems solved - I have changed 8m crystal, shorted two pins as in photo, connected to pc, disconnected shorted pins and run fw update. It works and I'm happy again.

On the other hand there is gsmserver.com support who didn't help me and their advice was to buy new dongle. really "great" support!!
