Am i missing any info about updates in chimera?
update will kill unlock but can be unlocked?

i try unlock just to see what would happend and phone did unlock.

Fortunately, it seems only the qualcomm phones are affected by recent updates. Exynos phones are not yet affected by security updates.

if the phone is unlocked and then they update the phone, do you know if they lose the unlock or the phone will stay unlocked?

no idea. i disable updates in my clients phones...

That mean when you have qualcomm phones, after the update to latest security device will be restored to the original lock state.

There is no way to predict future updates of Samsung. Qualcomm was blocked on November 2019 security, and newer. Exynos is not. But since it cannot be known if in future updates it will be blocked, it is always recommended to disable automatic updates.
