Hi,


the problem comes from the new Huawei Key, firmware, the chimera tool is not supporting that version right now, but we are working on it already, hopefully we can release it very soon, of course all the users will be informed.

Hi,


in your case the problem is total same, it is a new huawei security.

At the moment the devices with the new security are unable to unlock or repair imei, etc..

Huawei P20 pro (CLT-L29) unlock bootloader failed Chimera

Hello,

Unlocking bootloader failed.
After detecting manufacture port Chimera tries to authenticate on it and failed.

Any 2023 update for bypassing this protection?
Any success in Factory mode with Test points OR flash with an older fw?

Tried in fastboot mode too and failed :

Chimera support CLT-L29?

I don't understand because Chimera claims to support unlocking bootloader of CLT-L29 (for rooting) and now you say that there is no update for this phone?!
If Chimera doesn't know the secret key for authenticate on manufacture port (leading to "invalid challenge") how can you say you can unlock bootloader?

Unfortunately, we do not support BL unlock for that device. You are right, it is mistakenly in the supported procedures list for this device.

Ok and thank you for your honesty.
I want to say that I bough Chimera half for THAT reason! (unlocking CLT-L29 bl) - I was waiting THAT func. for YEARS!
The other reason was to fix my IMEI on a Samsung S8 who succeeded fortunatly!
