Member: 2495115 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 34  | HTC One M8 I received this HTC One M8 customer forgot password. I have tried Vol+ and pwr and alsoVol- and pwr neither takes me to the reset option. Vol- and pwer takes me to Htc DownoaD MODE ***LOCKED*** htc_himauhl PVT S-ON and options system info show barcode reboot to bootoader reboot to downoad mode reboot power down can i reset this phone? if so how do I connect to it? Thank you for al or any help Steve |

Member: 1787203 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 23,783 | reply Dear Sir, when I see it is an M9 model. When you want to use FRP lock remove on the device, please switch to download mode the device. When you want to factory reset the device: Select reboot to bootloader, then select recovery, then give it a couple seconds, then press the power button and tap the volume up button and release both. I can get the phone to downoad mode but when I enter the phine to downoad mode the drivers seem wrong. I have tried reinstal drivers in Chimera (twice). I have restarted my pc (wind 10) still the device driver shows the phone as " HTC One M9" under "other devices" obviously Chimera is not finding the phone Thank you for your support Steve |
