Member: 2495115 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 34 | McAfee security I am starting to find customers phones with McAfee security on them. This problem will increase as (at least in the UK) most versions of the newer S8 and S9 are shipped with this intrusive "protection". I am worried that if I use the "read codes" function with Chimera I will trigger McAfee? Any Advice please? Thank you Steve |

Member: 1787203 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 23,752 | reply Hi, We think it can not be problem, but really we never meet with the same case than before. For the 100% correct reply we need to test it. At the moment we try to buy a device for it. Basically it can not be problem but I think you know, in this case nobody can nut be sure for 100% without test Best regards Nicole Quote:

Member: 2495115 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 34 | Up to the present i've managed to trigger this lock twice, both times on, on A300FN's. While attempting to reflash to restore Modem. In both cases the customers did not remember setting such protection up! we managed to go through "forgotten password" routines and recover, I do not want this hassle with a new S8! Thank you for you help Steve |
