serial port not responding!!


Hello Team

I have tried many times by using UART RJ45 cable (Z3X) but always get error except one time only I was able to factory unlock an S4 Mini

here is the log, could you please help what is wrong here!

I tried another S5 and it worked on first try,got rooted and unlocked (work ID 3068048) while same phone and model and even same provider Videotron didn't get rooted thus never unlocked and always get same error "Z3X Box port is not responding"

Actually if there is fail for one model which type was successfully unlocked many times before that can be because of wrong firmware installed or many other small details.

But the Galaxy S5 was the brand new phone I just opened to unlock and the same model from same network I unlocked without any issue!!

Dear kaledkureshi,

Problem is that by some reason phone does not answer.
MicroUart cable is needed that's okay, but you can try other boxes as well, not only Z3X but please make sure DM+Modem+ADB are enabled.
