Asus memopad me172v hard reset


what is not posted before in this forume
when i need find from another place
------

ASUS MEMOPAD ME172V WIFI hard reset
1. Download the "cleardata.zip"
2. Unzip to MicroSD card
3. insert SD to device
4. press power bottun to boot
5. choose clear user data by volume key and press power key to do the clear data

My device is not going in boot mode while pressing Vol- & PWR tried many times..

I already download the clear data in my micro SD card and inserted it to my memo pad but when I power on the pad it continuously goes to the main screen and not to the boot loader.. pls help.. need to hard reset my pad.. thanks guys

i have done 10+ tabs with this file and same procedure
one is just before 5 minuts
use original mmc and with charger conected

It doesn't work for me too.
I did format the mmc with fat32 and copied the files, and did the rest but it turn on to the normal mode.
I'm using a 1gb mmc, is it possible that this is the problem? Should i use 4gb?
Please help.

may b you copied zip file in mmc card
need to extract cleardeta.zip to your mmc

here is some points that i face yesterday
-------------------
copy or heap third quality mmc card will not boot into recovery mode
must use any original mmc card
battery must b up to 50% charged

Notice ... MMC below 2GB will be working like charm .. upto 4GB or 8GB .. u need to buy or borrow u're friends,coz it wun be works .. tested many2 time by me with MMC 2GB.
