Step 1: Download a copy of latest N8 3RD firmware file from downloads section (KB10010F) or click here (Please make sure that you download proper firmware depending upon your device's memory) Also download Live Suite software for flashing the firmware on your device. Step 2: Shutdown your N8 3RD device completely. Step 3: Browse to the location in explorer where you have saved the N8 3RD firmware file and Live Suite. Step 4: Double-Click "LiveSuit.zip" Step 5: Extract LiveSuit software. Step 6: Browse to location and extract the N8 3RD firmware file Step 7: Run Live Suite Software. Step 8: Click on first button to open firmware file selection dialog box. Step 9: Browse to the location where you extracted the firmware file and select the image file. Step 10: Attach the USB cable to your computer. Hold the "Volume -" key on the tablet With "Volume -" key pressed, connect the other end of the USB cable to USB port of your tablet. With the "Volume -" key pressed, as soon as you plugin the USB cable into the tablet press the "Power" key 6 times quickly. Your tablet will now enter into flash recovery mode with no display on tablet. Note:- If your PC fails to install drivers for flash recovery mode then please provide the driver location manually. Drivers for flash recovery mode are located in UsbDriver folder as shown below. Step 11: Once your device is successfully detected Live Suite windows will pop up. Select "Yes" in mandatory format window. Step 12: Select "Yes" in force format window. Step 13: Live Suite will begin to flash your device with selected firmware. Note: Do not stop flashing half way through or you will brick your device. Step 14: After it has completed 100%, you can remove the USB Cable and power on the device. After the first reboot, you will see all the default applications. |
