I was given this tablet, already bricked, by a friend and I have been trying for some time to find this above ROM w/o luck...the closest I've come so far is a 7" Infotmic ROM. It still will not work, though. In desperation I have tried to flash several ROMs (criteria: 10" screen). The only good thing about this story is that the tablet flashes from MicroSD without problem...The links for the correct firmware were all too old and dead... I think there is an old Zenithink model with (almost) correct ROM, but I can't find that either...more dead links. And why do I worry about a tablet that's 7-8 years old? I was going to use it for my cat's cat toy apps (CAT Alone 1 & 2) so I don't get paw prints on my phone screen... Also: I do not have to have OS v.4.0. If I got OS v.2.x.x I could just take it from there... Any help appreciated! Thank you and best regards/Erich |
