I am trying to unlock xt389 but phone is not recognised.
I have rooted with kingo root and usb debug enabled.
I am running w7 ultimate I have also tried on w7 32bit laptop the same.
please any help with this

@ wynYN,

Motorola XT389 is MT65xx based phone model. It can be serviced by Smart-Clip2 via Yoda method.
In case phone can not be detected by PC at all, more likely that it has some kind of hardware malfunction. In such case it is recommended to check phone's hardware.

I downloaded Motorola device manager and installed it, then rooted and unlocked xt389 first try with smart clip 2
