G530T question about MIPI test

In gcpro-app-unlock-credits-resellers-list says MIPI should be fail but when I type *#0011# it says MIPI test success. Can anyone clarify that??

Hello
I have corrected it its typo.
MIPI and IMEI Cert should be pass before sending ask to reseller. there is no way to check in software for this at present only via dial *#0011#

Hi @stanner.

Do we know at this moment what MIPI DEVICE FAIL stands for? It's hardware? Where in hardware?

Thanks in advance.

Hello
MIPI is extra layer of protection enabled by samsung to verify chip of connector.
Which handle USB/UART over same connector.
They forcing disable network on hardware level exactly same as for IMEICERT fail on MIPI fail on new devices.

Some of qcom samsung can be solved with erase backup & restore backup option via ##33725327# need combination firmware or bypass knox with gcpro
Careful do not erase efs its not going to fix MIPI it will fail IMEICERT if any one do so.

Can anyone point me where in the board is this chip? I have some ideas on how to resolve this. Is in the flex handling the charge?
