Thumbs up G920V IMEI Repair- Done!

G920V Cert write done succesefully with GCPRO key. I tested to write cert to this phone with other boxes, but when dial 0011, it showed IMEI CERTI Fail -9 and No service everytime. Instructions:
1. Connect phone to any other box via UART Cable C330K
2. Select Box ComPort
3. Select MEIDCERT Write operation
4. Select your cert file and DONE!

PS 1. If you need dial *#7284# (to activate UART, but by default it already activated), you need root, because USSD codes not work on this devices, so Verizon disabled it. For root, visit this link.
PS 2. I tested it on G920VVRU4BOK7-5.1.1, then upgrded to latest Nougat without lose cert. I think this operation work on Nougat too, just test it, otherwise downgrade to Lollipop without any risk.

Hello
You should post log to confirm your success to other users.

You do not need this step or rooting. rooting may make phone warranty void and this will trigger knox void flag on latest firmware if knox is void will not allow you to rewrite cert.

There is other way to enable hidden codes. PLUG C3303K cable to phone. reboot phone with phone menu. wait till phone start up. dial code now it will work.

Thank you for advice, it was very useful.

And when root with this method that described in link, knox will not void.
And please tell, can GCPro key write cert to J530FM with U5 binary and how?
