I AM NEW WITH GCPRO, INSTALL THE DRIVER AND THE LAST VERSION 51, THE ACTIVATION WORKS PERFECT BUT WHEN I OPEN GCPROGSMTOOL GIVES ME THIS ERROR ALWAYS (ERROR ILLEGAL DRIVER 0X89) PLEASE HELP!!!

Checking Card Ok.
Verify Card verify ok
Card OsVer 0001
GCPro SN:= [GC04701F31]
GCPRO Activation CARD IS ACTIVE

Error 0x89 ILLEGAL DRIVER INSTALLED

Hello
Uninstall any spy tools you have in your pc. and remove his drivers too.
If you cant find what is spy tool in your pc test gcpro in clean windows.

i try in another windows pc clean and give me now security error 0x82

Hello
Make sure you extract from updatexx.rar and overwrite all existing.
Make sure in updatexx.rar in property there is no unblock option. if have click that and reextraxt with overwrite all.

Error 0x82 is for adb.exe is currupted or replaced in both can GCPro will not work.

im having same issue and i dont have any " illegal driver" installed
whats wroing now? cant use now Teamviewer if problem is that?

Well stan says that in my case it is libusb0 which is also needed for BST dongle ---- so he says we need to format our pc ir use another clean one just for gcpro--- kind of frustating huh

Seems like the issue may be more wide spread, Im having this issue too and only after the new release for update51.

Im going to try and revert back to 50 and see if that fixes the issue, theres no way Im formatting my pc.

I just looked and deleted it before checking to make sure it worked, did not think I would have this problem and cant find a copy anywhere.

If someone has a copy can you upload it please, thank you.

I cant find a copy anywhere, after 3 restore attempts from my PC it still leaves the 51 update as it is. Can anyone supply the 50 update so we can at least continue to use this tool!

No offense Stanner but you didnt do much for me. You suggested I have a virus due to another driver being installed and suggested "I do other services" and sent me on a mission that ended up locking my PC by using the new Malwarebytes program that has issues (Win7 64 bit users only it seems) that took me 4 hours to resolve.

I had no problems with the 50update and now have a dead device with the 51update, no virus on my PC and I do not offer any such services that use remote USB ports.

What I do use is Octo, Z3X, SmartCLip2, Chimera, XTC2 and this now useless GCprokey.

How about we test my theory and provide me a 50update file to see if at least thats not the issue please.

Im sorry if I seem a little frustrated but I almost lost my PC following your suggested virus problem, which turned out isnt my problem.
