[HELP] How do I Unlock G930P @ PK1 Firmware? - GSM-Forum

Hello,

How am I supposed to UNLOCK the G930P (Sprint) at G930PSPT4APK1 (PK1) Firmware? I am still getting INVALID SIM after Unlock Success. I tried to downgrade modem to PC5 and PD3 but nothing works. I still get INVALID SIM. Please Help I need to unlock this phone. Is there anything else I am missing? It doesn't look like I can downgrade firmware at this version... Thanks!

Flash eng root but the problem is itll reboot within 10-15 sec. So what I did was flash the eng root and then unlock via gcp before it rebooted. Tested it with a sim and then flashed stock back on and it stuck for me.

Thanks for this method. I will have to try it. Now what ENG ROOT file did you use? Can you link it?

@xboxtimus method worked!

I downloaded ENG BOOT here - G930P ENG BOOT - Works on PK1

Turn phone on first enable ADB etc. Put phone into DL mode, Flashed ENG boot to phone with PK1 Firmware, It booted up fine, Then I unlocked with GCPROKEY before phone reboots. Then I flash stock firmware back to phone and it is fully domestic unlocked works 100%

This is eng boot for G930T model specifically. From G930TUVE2APD7 firmware, to be exact. It does work for other G930 qualcomm phones, but gives issues such as rebooting because it's not for the exact carrier model. If you use correct model file, you don't have these issues.
