J327T Reset EFS Not Unlocking Phone
 

I have here a J327T on bit 3. I have the same combo/stock firmware I have used for several phones before, and the unlocks were previously successful.


For some reason, the one I have now wont unlock.
I have read the CERT and when I do reset EFS it threw errors.
Finally found out I have to select Samsung GSM and Yes to full wipe.


It wipes the EFS, insofar as it erases the IMEI. But the phone still says it is locked and that I have to use the application to unlock it. Restoring CERT works fine but phone is still locked.



On previous versions of GCPro this process worked perfectly - using the same firmware.



Or am I mistaken?

As far as i know J327T reset and write cert will not unlock such phone any rev code.
Only unlock via credits work for such model.
How ever J327A will unlock fine with such method.

how to read Cert?

try eng modem u3 and try again,not a guarantee

Which phone u need to read cert file.
For exynos phone, just enable diag port and select it via com port, choose exynos unlock. GCPro wil read cert and save it

In case on J327 and J330 exynos if you have rev1 ,rev 2 can directly use ADB_Unlock without root without server it will read cert.

rev 3 close exploit gcpro used, so for that exynos unlock over diag with combination modem may work still no report we got.

This phone has another security, not possible to unlock it using Reset_EFS even Reset MSL, but you can use tools for unlock it for free, in rev 1, 2 and 3 tools works. SO you need to find it and know what you need to use this tool.
Or if you don't have it you can use GCPro credits, is the best option for all exynos phones. At the end, the "solution" based in reset efs, always damage phone, doesn't matter if someone says it is not true, in fact, 2G/3G network become a crap when you reset EFS, and no way to "repair" that.
Of course I am talking about others models like J727T, and other Exynos phones.
