J727T Rev 3 Unlock help (solved) - GSM-Forum

I got a J727T with Rev 3 bootloader. I tried the old trick to read cert, wipe EFS and write cert but i keep getting error. I flashed combination and error as well. Is there any way to make the old method work or any other method?

Exactly why are you showing Exynos Unlock log? I'm curious. Are you able to read cert diag? Then wipe exynos efs? After that write_imei over uart.

I have Z3X and it just throws errors when trying to read cert Diag. This log is from stock firmware

J727T still no way to root or permissive if you can one of them you can still do via ASK/RPL option and credits.

Sad to say no way via diag its closed in RA and newer firmware.

all you have to do it download the RA1 combo flash the modem and unlock and read cert like normal

This is true, and actually all you need to do is flash the
J727U_UVU3ARA1_v7.0.0 Modem only which allows HWID Diag read.

Can I flash "U" firmware in a "T" or "T1" phone? Will be nice cause "U" firmware is unbranded.

Yes I've tried it, and it gives a nice unbranded UI.
Use the latest Samsung_Odin_v3.13.1_Patched from here:

By the way the "U" firmware only works on the gsm/lte versions "A", "T", and "T1", but don't believe it will work on the cdma/lte versions "P" and "V".
For the last two models you can try the XAS and LRA versions respectively if they exist, though I haven't tried them myself.
