what mode does phone need to be in. All i see is adb device in device manager and no modem or com port. How do you enable diag on sprint lg g5?

Hello
Unlocking lg sprint not need diag. Just enable usb developer mode(adb) plug phone and start lg sprint unlock. spc will show while unlocking.

First get the SPC/MSL via some method like logcat dump etc.
Then dial ##3424# and enable diag mode.
From the drop down status bar select Android System/Charge mode only.
Those steps should enable the diag ports in device manager.

This app can help you enable/set apn, even though it was made for the V10 it works fine with many LG's.
