you're going to need to go into the dial pad and dial *#0011#
After that you're going to need to click the

menu > key input > Q,
menu > back,
menu > key input > 0000.

Wait for about 20 seconds then a menu will appear. Once the menu appears go to:

>UE SETTING & INFO

>SETTING

>PROTOCOL

>GCF

>GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF ON

Interesting solution yours as it is the same I posted for other threads to users in this forum. You should be tagged as copy/paster.

Ohh and, does not work on n930p.

My apologies then. It seems that I'm the only one that uses the "search" button before asking for a solution. Other ppl should do the same. Anyways, are you trying to help or just being a laywer? Thanks in advance.

If you were to live here in my country, using GSM 2g networks, you wont be thinking like that. In my case, if I dont use gcf activation, cellphone gets coverage and when loses it, you have to restart phone in order to obtain it again. Hope you understand my situation. I was having that issue with g920/g930p and gcf saved my life.
