S6 new modems patch cert - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have S6 edge on android 6.0.1 OTA updated with baseband G925FXXS4DPG1, you know this modem is impossible downgrade, only can flash same modem (no imei, no signal and baseband unknow if you flash any other modem).

Your box can patch or write cert for return signal with this modem?

Hello
GCPro support direct unlock,msl reset,imeicert write for such model.
But to write imei cert if phoje warranty void must flash combination(engineering) firmware to phone else not possible in GCPro.

on other hand if phone knox warranty is not void you can write imei cert easly with GCPro.

Solved with these actions and original IMEI, with another imei don´t work:

- Restore phone backup (EFS) ONLY WITH ORIGINAL IMEI, now the phone state must be with correct imei, baseband version appears in phone software information section (no unknow) and reminds in android 6.0.1, but no signal.

- Flash with Odin 3.10.6 in CP this modem: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resi...int=file%2ctar

- Now you can patch certificate without errors.

- Flash again new baseband come with your android version 6.0.1 (only modem in CP).

- Restart and wait e voilà, signal returns and phone works in full operation.

Note: Tested on SM-G925F (S6 Edge) with rom 6.0.1 G925FXXS3DPF1 and modem G925FXXS4DPG1, not blocked IMEI and rom in 4 parts for flash only modem.
